The group began with 6 kids and has grown ever since. We open our doors to youth and young men and women from Zion, Waukegan, North Chicago and surrounding areas and provide a safe space to gather. A typical Friday night consists of ongoing games of basketball, a "halftime" message, as well as food and good conversations. We are here to not only share the Gospel, but to provide guidance and help those that come into our doors any way we can. We are located at Wesley Free Methodist Church, 3601 N. Lewis Ave. Waukegan, IL 60087. We operate on Friday Nights. In recent years, Matt Thornton as been a guest speaker on shows such as Windy City Live, as well as a segment with NBC Chicago. Matt has travelled throughout the country to share his story on what it is like to be a police officer and the mental health issues that arise with that profession, as well as how this organization came to be.
